We’re Nick and Liam, the muddy boots and checked theatre tickets behind Westcountry Weekender.

Westcountry Weekenders Liam and Nick at Dawlish Warren

Nick was born in Devon, whilst Liam grew up in the Midlands but has lived in Bristol, Exeter and Mid-Devon.

We’re passionate about the Westcountry and started this blog to celebrate the places, businesses and events that make the South West such a great place to live and holiday in.

About Us!

Together Nick and Liam love to travel and it’s this passion for exploration and making the most of time off work that led to the creation of Westcountry Weekender.

We now split our time between France (where we have a small house and a big garden that keeps us very busy) and the West Country, where we still have lots of friends and family to visit.
